We went to the Fair and rode rides
that I hadn’t ridden in years. I had forgotten how dizzy you could get
on the tilt-a-whirl! Cotton Candy, Elephant Ears, the Funhouse, and
games, we were there almost six hours, time flew by.

A variety of volunteer
opportunities are available to fit your schedule.
Our program offers several ways you can volunteer:

One-to-One Mentoring matches one child to one adult.
- School-based Mentoring matches an adult with a
child during
the school year.
- Couple's Mentoring matches a couple with one
child.
- Cross-Gender Mentoring matches a female
volunteer with a
male child under the age of ten.

Our enrollment process allows us to learn about our
volunteer's strengths, interests and skills. We try to gain as much
insight as possible so that we match an adult and a child who have the
potential to develop a long term friendship.
